Heartfelt Blessings For
Those In Need. . .
(from people who have received ICARE support)
On March 7th, 2010 my husband and I were out clearing our property of brush. After a couple hours of pulling, cutting and sawing brush I felt a horrific headache coming on. All of a sudden every movement seemed to be a real struggle. I couldn't move my head to the right or left and my arms felt extremely heavy.
My husband got me into the house and after looking up my symptoms online, put me in the car and drove me to Clearwater valley hospital. There they did a CAT scan and discovered a brain hemorrhage.  I was put in an ambulance and taken to St Joes in Lewiston. Once I arrived at the hospital I figured I would be back to work in a day or two. After all, I had bills to pay!  It wouldn't be long before I found out I wasn't going anywhere for at least a week!  Probably longer!  All I could think about was how much it was all going to cost.  Plus the fact that I was going to be out of work for awhile and how was I going to be able to make my car payment.
The cards and letters started pouring in.  Imagine my shock and relief when I opened a card from a small group of people known as ICARE with a note telling me they were praying for my recovery and a check for $500.  It meant so much to my husband and me.  We wouldn't have to worry about my car payment!  Thank you so much ICARE for your prayers and your gift.  Robbin
